Snapping St Arnaud was one of several small town projects, where MAPgroup photographers document a country town and donate the images back to the community as a visual archive. In 2005, MAPgroup documented the rural community of St Arnaud in north-western Victoria. The collection of photographs from this visit were exhibited locally and donated back to the town.
In 2015, MAPgroup returned to see what had changed, a decade later and spent several days photographing in the region. The community is currently looking at sourcing funds to turn this new collection of images into another exhibition.
