ST ARNAUD

Snapping St Arnaud was one of several small town projects, where MAPgroup photographers document a country town and donate the images back to the community as a visual archive for them to keep. In 2005, MAPgroup documented the rural community of St Arnaud in north-western Victoria. The collection of photographs from this visit were exhibited locally and donated back to the town.

In 2015, a decade later, MAPgroup returned to see what had changed and spent several days photographing in the region. The resulting body of work, St Arnaud Revisited, was exhibited in St Arnaud in February 2018 and now resides within the community.
