JULIE MILLOWICK

Julie Millowick’s career began in the darkroom of Athol Shmith, John Cato and Peter Barr. In 1977, she exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria and Australian Centre for Photography, as part of Australian New Work. In 1993 she exhibited in Intimate Lives with Sally Mann, Nan Goldin and Jaques Henri Lartigue at the International Fotofeis in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is constantly working on projects referencing regional issues.

Julie has work in numerous collections including National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Monash Gallery of Art and State Library of Victoria.

In 2009, Julie established the 100% online Photojournalism Course at La Trobe University. She is currently an Honorary of La Trobe supervising MA students.
