Snapping St Arnaud was one of several small town projects, where MAPgroup photographers document a country town and donate the images back to the community as a visual archive for them to keep. In 2005, MAPgroup documented the rural community of St Arnaud in north-western Victoria. The collection of photographs from this visit were exhibited locally and donated back to the town.

In 2015, a decade later, MAPgroup returned to see what had changed and spent several days photographing in the region. The resulting body of work, St Arnaud Revisited, will be exhibited in the community in February 2018. Please visit the news page for further information.
